Stainless steel vibrating screens are widely used in material screening operations in industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals due to their corrosion resistance and stable vibration screening performance. To ensure the long-term stable operation of the equipment, extend its service life, and reduce the occurrence of failures, it is necessary to strictly follow the following daily maintenance procedures.
Daily maintenance procedures for stainless steel vibrating screen:
1、 Daily inspection and maintenance
1. Equipment status confirmation
•Before starting up, thoroughly inspect the tightness of the screen body bolts, brackets, and connecting components, with a focus on checking for cracks at the stainless steel welds.
•Observe the tension and wear of the screen mesh, and replace it immediately if any deformation or damage is found to avoid material leakage affecting the grading effect.
2. Lubrication and Sealing Management
•Check the oil level and quality of the exciter to ensure that the lubricating oil is clean and free of impurities, and the oil level is within the marked range.
•High temperature resistant lubricating grease should be added to the bearing parts every week, and any residue should be promptly cleaned after stainless steel parts come into contact with the lubricant.
2、 Key monitoring points during operation
1. Performance monitoring
•During operation, pay attention to amplitude stability. Abnormal vibration may indicate the failure of the shock absorber spring or deformation of the screen frame.
•Monitor the temperature rise of the motor. If it exceeds 40 ℃, stop the machine and check the cooling system and bearing status.
2. Material handling optimization
•Ensure even distribution of feed and avoid accelerated wear of the screen due to local overload.
•Regularly clean the blockage on the screen surface, use a soft brush to remove residue, and prohibit metal tools from scratching the stainless steel surface.
3、 Maintenance process after shutdown
1. Equipment cleaning
•Clean the dust inside the sieve box, check the sealing of the inlet/outlet to prevent material accumulation and corrosion of stainless steel components.
•Apply rust proof oil to exposed metal surfaces and cover them with protective covers before long-term discontinuation.
2. Safety operation standards
•Cut off the power supply and hang warning signs before maintenance. Disassembling complex components such as vibration exciters should be operated by professional technicians.
•After replacing the screen, it is necessary to repeat the tensioning within 4-8 hours to ensure that the screen surface is fixed.
4、 Key points of periodic maintenance
• Weekly: Check the condition of the shock absorber spring and rubber pad, and replace any deformed or cracked shock absorber components.
•Monthly: Fully tighten all bolts, inspect the integrity of the screen frame welds and stainless steel structure.
•Quarterly: Replace the lubricating oil of the exciter and check the insulation performance of the motor (resistance ≥ 1M Ω).
Following the above maintenance procedures can effectively ensure the operational stability of stainless steel vibrating screens, reduce downtime due to malfunctions, ensure continuous and efficient screening operations, extend the overall service life of equipment, and reduce enterprise operation and maintenance costs.
