Process flow of microwave dryer drying
Date: 2025-11-22Read: 5
The microwave dryer uses microwave to directly act on the water molecules inside the material to achieve fast and uniform drying effect. Its drying process mainly includes equipment preheating, material loading, parameter setting, starting drying, quality inspection and adjustment, equipment shutdown and cleaning, etc. The specific introduction is as follows:
1. Equipment preheating: After starting the power supply, the equipment needs to run without load for 3-5 minutes to make the magnetron reach a stable working state. This step ensures that the internal temperature of the equipment is uniform, preparing for the subsequent drying process.
2. Material loading for microwave dryer: Spread the materials to be dried evenly on the conveyor belt or tray to avoid stacking too thick and affecting microwave penetration. The recommended thickness of the material should not exceed 3cm to ensure uniform drying.
3. Parameter setting: Set the microwave power (usually 5-30kW), conveyor belt speed (0.5-3m/min), and temperature range (40-80 ℃) based on material characteristics such as moisture content and density. These parameters can be flexibly adjusted according to actual needs to achieve the best drying effect.
4. Start drying: After closing the cabin door, start the equipment and observe the temperature and humidity data displayed on the control panel in real time. The equipment will dry the material according to the set parameters, and microwave energy will directly act on the water molecules inside the material, causing them to heat up and evaporate. The water vapor will be removed through the dehumidification system.
5. Quality inspection and adjustment of microwave dryer: After drying, sample and test the moisture content, and if necessary, perform secondary drying adjustment. This step ensures that the material achieves the expected drying effect and meets production requirements.
6. Equipment shutdown and cleaning: After drying is complete, shut down the equipment and clean up any remaining materials inside. Keeping the equipment clean and dry can help extend its service life and ensure the smooth progress of the next drying process.
