1、 Daily basic maintenance
1. Deep cleaning after use
After each experiment, remove the rotor and use a neutral cleaning agent combined with a soft cloth to wipe the inner cavity, rotor, and centrifuge tube sleeve, focusing on cleaning the sample residue. After cleaning, thoroughly dry the metal parts to prevent oxidation and corrosion.
2. Balance control
Before centrifuging the sample, it is necessary to accurately weigh and balance it to ensure that the mass difference of the symmetrical position sample is ≤ 0.1g, in order to avoid abnormal vibration caused by equipment imbalance.
3. Preprocessing check
Before starting, confirm that the rotor is firmly installed without looseness, check the closed state of the door lock device, and observe whether there is any damage or leakage hazard in the power cord.
2、 Periodic deep maintenance
1. Monthly maintenance
Check the operation status of the motor, identify abnormal noise or vibration, and replace worn carbon brushes in a timely manner (recommended 3000 hour cycle).
Add specialized lubricating grease (such as Beckman 306812 model) to moving parts such as shafts and bearings, and manually rotate to ensure even lubrication.
2. Quarterly maintenance
Inspect the rotor surface from a full perspective for scratches or corrosion pits of ≥ 0.5mm, and use a thickness gauge to measure the wall thickness attenuation of the aluminum alloy rotor.
Tighten the rotor fixing screws and equipment base bolts, and the torque value should comply with the manufacturer's technical manual specifications.
3. Annual calibration
Verify the deviation between the actual speed and the set value through a photoelectric tachometer, with an error requirement of ≤± 2%; Refrigerator models require synchronous calibration of temperature control system accuracy.
3、 Key System Maintenance Guidelines
1. Maintenance of refrigeration system
Clean the dust accumulation on the condenser fins every month, check the lubricating oil level of the compressor, and maintain the refrigerant pressure within the standard range of 0.4-0.6MPa.
2. Electrical system inspection
Quarterly check the sensitivity of the control panel buttons, measure the grounding resistance value with a multimeter (should be ≤ 4 Ω), and update the aging power cord components.
3. Sealing and protection treatment
Apply silicone grease to the door cover sealing ring every quarter, and replace it immediately if elasticity decreases or cracks (elongation<30%) are found.
4、 Regulations for handling special working conditions
1. Corrosive sample processing
When separating strong acid/alkali substances, use a fully sealed rotor, and immediately neutralize and clean with 10% sodium bicarbonate solution after operation to prevent residual liquid from corroding metal parts.
2. Biological pollution disposal
After contact with pathogen samples, the chamber and rotor should be fumigated and disinfected with 0.5% peracetic acid for 30 minutes.
3. Emergency fault response
When there is noise with an amplitude greater than 5mm or greater than 85dB during operation, immediately perform an emergency stop and investigate the possibility of rotor imbalance or bearing damage.
5、 Maintenance record management
It is recommended to establish an electronic maintenance file to record key parameters such as speed deviation, rotor loss status, and lubricant replenishment for each maintenance, forming a trend chart of equipment health. Adopting a QR code tag management system to achieve intelligent reminder of accessory replacement cycles.
