What are the precautions for using sterile packaging isolators?
Date: 2025-09-11Read: 0
The precautions for using sterile packaging isolators mainly include the following aspects:
1、 Preparation before startup
1. Compressed air inspection: Ensure that the pressure is within the range of 0.4~0.6Mpa and open the valve as the driving source for the isolator power system.
2. Power and air supply sequence: First turn on the compressed air and then turn on the power to avoid system abnormalities caused by valve components without air supply.
3. Hydrogen peroxide solution management: The storage bottle should hold at least 300ml of solution (recommended concentration of 25% or above), and the storage time should not exceed one week. The replacement date should be recorded for the first use.
4. Internal inspection of the isolator: Confirm that there is no liquid residue to avoid humidity affecting the effectiveness of wet sterilization.
2、 Item Handling Standards
1. Sterilization requirements: Items entering the isolator must undergo surface cleaning and disinfection, return to room temperature, and have no liquid residue (such as reheating items taken out of the refrigerator).
2. Wet heat sterilization components: Suspended particle sampling heads need to be pre sterilized with wet heat to avoid contaminating the sterile environment.
3. Loading restrictions: The placement of items must follow the verified loading method and cannot be changed arbitrarily.
3、 Operation and maintenance
1. Filter drainage: Before starting, the residual water in the filter should be drained completely. If there is too much water accumulation, the bag filter should be replaced.
2. Aseptic operation principle:
During operation, keep the sterile area and non sterile area separated to avoid crossing or coming into contact with non sterile items.
Aseptic items should be labeled with the sterilization date, and the shelf life is generally not more than 7 days.
4、 Other precautions
1. Use of holding equipment: If holding pliers are involved, they should be closed for retrieval and kept with the front end facing downwards. Oil gauze should not be clamped.
2. Environmental control: The operating area should be clean and dry to reduce personnel movement and minimize the risk of pollution.
The above precautions integrate the key points of equipment operation, item management, and aseptic technology, and must be strictly followed to ensure the sterility of the packaging process.
