The main structure of a horizontal spiral settling centrifuge

The horizontal spiral settling centrifuge (referred to as the horizontal spiral centrifuge) is a key equipment for achieving solid-liquid separation. The difference between the drum speed and the screw propeller determines the separation effect and efficiency of the material. Traditional horizontal spiral centrifuges (including two-phase and three-phase) use mechanical transmission principles.
Main structure:
1. Drum: It is a key component of a centrifuge, which not only bears the centrifugal pressure exerted by materials and accessories during high-speed rotation, but also the centrifugal force generated by the mass of the drum itself. It is composed of four parts: cylinder, cone, large end cap, and small end cap, which are connected by flanges. The radial slag discharge hole is located near the connection between the cone and the small end flange. The overflow hole is opened on the large end cover, and the depth of the liquid pool is adjusted with the help of an eccentric overflow plate. Considering factors such as strength, corrosion resistance, and weldability, the drum material is treated with nickel phosphorus plating on 35 steel.
2. Spiral conveyor: It can continuously transport sediment to the discharge outlet outside the machine. Depending on the solid-liquid ratio of the processed material, the ratio of the infusion channel to the slag discharge channel can be 1B1 or 1B2. An acceleration rotating device is welded at the feeding position of the spiral body to avoid reducing the separation effect due to material rotation lag. A reverse spiral is welded at the small end of the spiral body to prevent sediment from accumulating at the small end of the drum. Its material is the same as the drum, treated with nickel phosphorus plating on 35 steel.
3. Hydraulic motor: The differential speed between the screw and the drum is achieved by a hydraulic motor. The oil supply of the hydraulic motor can be automatically adjusted through an oil transfer joint.
4. Main bearing: Due to the hydraulic transmission of this machine and the design of a hydraulic station, the drum speed is usually around 3000r/min. Therefore, it is considered to use thin oil lubrication. The lubricating oil is supplied in a circulating manner, which not only lubricates but also cools the bearings.
5. Machine base: adopts I-beam welded structure. Use 4 rubber shear shock absorbers to reduce vibration.
