The horizontal screw settling centrifuge consists of a rotary drum, a screw conveyor, a feed pipe, left and right bearing seats, a differential, transmission components, a machine base, and a casing.
1. Drum drum
Composed of conical drum, cylindrical drum, large and small end caps, etc. There are 6 outlet holes distributed axially at the large end of the drum, and the liquid level is controlled by a regulating plate (see Figure 3). To meet the needs of various materials and solid phases with different dryness, this machine adjusts the liquid level size by changing the overflow radius of the regulating plate. The larger the R value, the shorter the settling zone, the longer the drying zone, and the drier the separated solid phase; On the contrary, the longer the settling zone, the lower the solid content of the separated liquid phase, and the solid phase also becomes wet accordingly. The small end of the drum is radially distributed with 8 solid phase outlets embedded with wear-resistant liners.
2. Spiral Conveyor
It is mainly composed of the inner cylinder, blades, and flanges of the cylindrical cone. The blades are welded onto the cylinder in a spiral shape, and a layer of wear-resistant hard alloy is sprayed on the outer circle of the column blades and the front of the pushing material. In addition, specially designed wear-resistant hard alloy sheets are embedded and welded on the column blades near the spiral discharge port and the entire cone blades, which have better wear resistance. The sprayed layer and wear-resistant sheet can be repaired after wear. There is a fabric acceleration cone at the spiral discharge port, which accelerates the material to the drum speed before entering the drum working chamber to reduce the impact of the material on the liquid pool.
3. Differential mechanism
This machine adopts a 2K-H planetary gear differential, which has high transmission efficiency, reliable operation, and compact structure. Its outer circle rotates synchronously with the drum, and the output shaft drives the screw conveyor to rotate. After adopting it, this machine ensures that the drum and the screw conveyor rotate in the same direction at different speeds and can obtain a stable rotation difference.
4. Transmission components
Both the main and auxiliary motors are equipped with ordinary motors and frequency converters. The main motor adjusts the working speed of the centrifuge according to the characteristics of the material, while the auxiliary motor can adjust different differential speeds.
