Stainless steel mixing tank is an important equipment commonly used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, and chemicals. Proper maintenance can extend the service life of the equipment and ensure product quality. Below, we will provide a detailed introduction to the maintenance methods of stainless steel mixing tanks from four aspects: daily maintenance, regular maintenance, prevention of common problems, and cleaning and disinfection.
1、 Key points of daily maintenance
The daily maintenance of stainless steel mixing tanks is the foundation for ensuring the normal operation of equipment, mainly including the following:
1. Pre use inspection:
Check if the mixing tank is clean, if there are status signs, and if it is within its validity period;
Check if all pipelines and valves connected to the liquid distribution tank are intact and if their positions are appropriate;
Check if key components such as the mixing system and seals are functioning properly.
2. Precautions during use:
Strictly adhere to the operating principle of 'stopping for feeding and closing for operation';
Pay attention to observing whether temperature, pressure and other parameters are normal during operation;
If any abnormal sound or vibration is detected, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection.
3. Cleaning after use:
Cleaning should be carried out immediately after each shift of production is completed;
Close the bottom discharge ball valve of the tank, add purified water and cleaning agent, and stir for 10 minutes;
After discharging the sewage, rinse with purified water until the pH value of the discharged water is the same as that of the inlet water;
Finally, rinse with injection water once.
4. Other maintenance:
Add lubricating grease to the bearings and gear transmission parts every 3 months;
Check all screws for looseness and tighten them promptly;
Remove dust from the surface and interior of the equipment;
Do not use metal tools to scrape the inner wall of the can.
2、 Regular maintenance methods
In addition to daily maintenance, stainless steel mixing tanks also require regular professional maintenance:
1. Mechanical component maintenance:
Check the mechanical seals of the mixing system every quarter and replace them if necessary;
Check the wear of the mixing blade, and replace it if it is severely worn;
Check the lubricating oil level of the gearbox and replenish or replace it if necessary.
2. Tank maintenance:
Inspect the corrosion of the inner and outer walls of the tank annually;
Key inspections should be conducted on easily corroded areas such as welds and interfaces;
If rust is found, it should be dealt with in a timely manner to prevent expansion.
3. Sealing system maintenance:
Regularly inspect the sealing rings of manholes, mirrors, and other areas;
If aging or deformation is found, it should be replaced in a timely manner;
Ensure that all sealing surfaces are clean and undamaged.
4. Instrument calibration:
Calibrate thermometers, pressure gauges, and other instruments every six months;
Ensure accurate display and replace if necessary.
