A vacuum depressurization concentration tank is a commonly used equipment in chemical laboratories for concentrating, drying, or distilling solutions. Proper operation and maintenance of vacuum decompression and concentration tanks can extend their service life, ensure the accuracy of experimental data, and prevent the occurrence of dangerous accidents. This article introduces the operating procedures of vacuum depressurization and concentration tanks.
1. Tank installation and inspection
Before use, it is necessary to check whether the tank is in a safe state, including the following points:
(1) Is the tank damaged;
(2) Is the entire device in a stable position.
When installing or adjusting devices, the suspension components and transmission system must be securely connected; All components are intact, with burrs and sharp edges polished smooth; The braking system and stability system are intact and undamaged.
2. Preparation before operation
(1) Preparation items: vacuum decompression and concentration tank and its accessories, protector, mixed liquid lubricant, gasket, pliers, etc;
(2) Before releasing the control button, check that all hard pipes and pipelines are connected and tightly clamped with explosion-proof tape or hose;
(3) The tank, kettle lid, and other objects related to sealing must be dry and free of impurities.
3. Precautions during operation
(1) When fixing the pipeline to the vacuum pressure reducing and concentrating tank, using plastic cone joints or metal hose joints can ensure the smoothness of the system;
(2) It is necessary to fix each welding point (nipple lens) to ensure their stability in operation;
(3) After the pressure reducing pump is started, it is necessary to continuously adjust the power and control the operation of the vacuum pump with valves at the required vacuum level (usually around 100mtorr);
(4) Maintain all components dry and clean.
4. Tank maintenance
(1) Apply a layer of liquid sealant on high-temperature areas such as connecting rods and body parts to lubricate and prevent burns in case of splashing;
(2) Before starting and closing the operation, it is necessary to check whether all fasteners are tightened and fixed.
