The filtration area of the plate and frame filter press is several times larger than that of a typical filter, and it is widely used in the field of suspension filtration and separation. The structure of the plate and frame filter press is simple, the equipment is compact, the filtration area is large but the footprint is small, the operating pressure is high, the moisture content of the filter cake is low, and it has strong applicability to various materials, making it suitable for intermittent operation.
Structure of Plate and Frame Filter Press:
1. The plate and frame filter press consists of five main parts: filter plate, hydraulic system, filter frame, filter plate transmission system, and electrical system.
2. YF series racks often use high-strength steel structural components, which are safe, reliable, power stable, and durable. The filter plate and frame are made of reinforced polypropylene through one-time membrane compression molding, with stable relative size and chemical properties, high strength, light weight, acid and alkali resistance, non-toxic and odorless. All flow surfaces are corrosion-resistant media.
3. The plate and frame filter press adopts hydraulic compression, and the hydraulic compression mechanism consists of a hydraulic station, an oil cylinder, a screw rod, and a locking nut. The composition of the hydraulic station includes: motor, integrated block, gear pump, overflow valve (regulating pressure), manual directional valve, pressure gauge, oil pipe, oil tank plate frame. The filter chamber structure of the filter press is composed of filter plates and filter frames arranged in groups. The filter plate of the plate and frame filter press is designed with grooves on the surface to install and support the filter cloth, and guide the flow of the filtered liquid. After assembly, the filter frame and filter plate form a liquid circulation channel for introducing suspension, washing water, and extracting the filtered liquid.
4. The filter plate and filter frame of the plate and frame filter press are both compressed by a clamping device, and there are handles at the positions of the filter plate and filter frame to support the entire filter chamber structure. The filter cloth installed between the filter plate and the filter frame of the plate and frame filter press not only performs the filtering work, but also serves as a sealing gasket.
