Characteristics and Applications of Dual Filter
Date: 2021-10-08Read: 5
A dual filter, also known as a dual switching filter, is composed of two stainless steel filters connected in parallel. It has many advantages such as a reasonable structure, good sealing, strong flow capacity, and easy operation. It can accurately ensure the filtration accuracy and quickly replace the filter bag. There is basically no material consumption in the filtration, making it easy to operate and cost-effective.
Double filter is generally made of stainless steel. Two single cylinder filters are assembled on one machine base. When cleaning the filters, there is no need to stop the machine to ensure continuous operation. It is a non-stop production line filtration device, which can use stainless steel filter cartridges, honeycomb style degreasing fiber cotton, PP filter cartridges, PE filter cartridges, and other stable filter cartridges. It can filter out particles with a particle size of 1 μ or more. The inner and outer surfaces of the double filter are polished and can also be sandblasted. The filter cartridge is equipped with stainless steel filter screens and filter support baskets; The top is equipped with a vent valve for discharging the air inside the filter during filtration. The connection between the upper cover and the filter cartridge adopts a quick opening structure, which is more convenient for cleaning (replacing) the filter screen. The three adjustable support feet allow the filter to be placed smoothly on the ground, with pressure and temperature resistance, and flexible and convenient operation.
Scope of application of dual filter:
1. Weakly corrosive materials in chemical and petrochemical production, such as water, ammonia, oil products, hydrocarbons, etc.
2. Corrosive materials in chemical production, such as caustic soda, concentrated and dilute sulfuric acid, carbonic acid, acetic acid, etc.
3. Low temperature materials in refrigeration, such as liquid methane, liquid ammonia, liquid oxygen, and various refrigerants.
4. Materials with hygiene requirements in light industrial food and pharmaceutical production, such as beer, beverages, dairy products, grain slurry, medical supplies, etc.
