Requirements for working environment of organic solvent recovery equipment
Date: 2023-12-06Read: 5
Organic solvent recovery equipment is a device for recovering organic solvents. Organic solvents generally have characteristics such as toxicity, harm, explosiveness, and flammability, and are prone to incidents such as leakage, fire, explosion, and poisoning. It is necessary to configure appropriate control systems in order to prevent and control the occurrence or expansion of accidents.
For enterprises that use and store organic solvents, safety control facilities play a crucial role in improving their production safety technology and ensuring safe production. If the organic solvent recovery equipment can work normally, it will bring significant benefits to the enterprise. So how can we ensure the normal operation of the solvent recovery equipment? What kind of work environment is needed?
1. The air-cooled recycling machine requires 220V/380V three-phase four wire electricity, while the water-cooled recycling machine requires tap water in addition to 220V/380V three-phase four wire electricity;
2. Stay away from sources of fire, have good ventilation, and keep the indoor temperature below 40 ℃;
3. There shall be no violent vibration or impact within a radius of 5 meters;
4. The workplace area shall not be less than 3 square meters;
5. Storage containers should have anti-static and heat-resistant properties. It is recommended to use stainless steel drums (for Class I and II liquid hazardous materials), and the containers should comply with the requirements of the national standard GB13508-92;
6. The handling and storage of waste solvents and recycled solvents shall be strictly carried out in accordance with national standards;
7. If conditions permit, explosion-proof lighting should be installed and an explosion-proof power supply system should be used;
8. If conditions permit, anti-static floor (blanket) devices should be installed;
9. Operators must undergo safety training and be qualified before using the equipment.
