In an industrial cluster area in Linxi County, Xingtai City, Hebei Province, two sets of XMZG200/1250-30U filter press units are operating day and night, jointly undertaking the task of treating mixed industrial sludge generated by various industrial enterprises in the area.



Industrial sludge has a wide range of sources and complex components, and its physical properties are often viscous and compacted, making it difficult to treat. The dewatering unit composed of these two sets of filter press units has become a key link in achieving sludge reduction and stabilization in the industrial wastewater treatment process in the region. Each unit is equipped with automatic water flushing and liquid collection flipping devices, which means that the entire process from core dehydration operations to subsequent filter cloth cleaning and filtrate collection has a higher degree of automation and closure.
The plunger pump provides feeding power for these two filter presses. Faced with mixed industrial sludge with unstable properties, sometimes too viscous and sometimes too dilute, the plunger pump can provide continuous and strong pushing pressure to ensure that the viscous sludge is stably and evenly injected into each filtration chamber inside the filter press, laying the foundation for subsequent efficient pressing.
After the sludge fills the filter chamber under high pressure, the system enters the pressure filtration stage. The strong mechanical pressure generated by the equipment acts on the sludge on the entire filtration surface, squeezing out the moisture to the maximum extent possible. The clear filtrate passes through a specialized filter cloth, while the solid material is intercepted and compacted, forming a preliminary mud cake. Afterwards, the automatic water flushing system integrated into the equipment began to work. High pressure water flow accurately flushes both sides of the filter cloth, removing fine particles trapped deep in the fibers of the filter cloth. This step effectively restores the filtration efficiency of the filter cloth and ensures the long-term stable processing capacity of the equipment.
Throughout the entire dehydration process, the collection flap always plays an important role. It is located below the filter chamber, like a flexible tray, which can effectively receive all the liquids generated during the pressure filtration process and washing of the filter cloth, ensuring that every drop of wastewater is concentrated and directed to the collection system, avoiding secondary pollution to the workshop environment caused by leakage.
After the end of a homework cycle, the equipment unfolds and the solid filter cake with good molding and significantly reduced moisture content falls off neatly. These deeply dehydrated sludge have significantly reduced volume and weight, creating favorable conditions for subsequent transportation, compliant disposal, or resource utilization.
