Routine Maintenance and Troubleshooting for Freezing Point Osmometers
After daily use, wipe the instrument's exterior casing with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and stains, preventing them from entering the instrument's interior and affecting performance. For critical components such as the sample needle and stirring paddle, use specialized cleaning tools—such as a cotton swab dipped in a small amount of alcohol—to gently wipe away residual samples and impurities. This prevents clogging or corrosion and ensures measurement accuracy.Precautions for using low-temperature coolant circulation pump: 1. Before using the low-temperature coolant circulation pump, liquid medium (pure water, alcohol, antifreeze can also be used) should be added to the tank. The liquid level of the medium should be below the cooling coil in the tank and 20mm below the workbench; 2. Power supply: 220V 50Hz, the power supply should be greater than the total power of the instrument, and the power supply must have a good "grounding" device; 3. Prevent acidic and alkaline substances from entering the tank and corroding the coil and inner container; 4. The instrument should be placed in a dry and ventilated area, with no obstacles within 300mm around the instrument; 5. Regularly observe the liquid level in the tank. When the liquid level is too low, liquid medium should be added in a timely manner; 6. When the working temperature of the low-temperature coolant circulation pump is low, be careful not to open the upper cover and do not enter the tank with your hands to prevent freezing damage; 7. After use, place all switches in the off state and cut off the power supply; 8. When the liquid is circulated externally, customers should pay special attention to the firmness of the connection of the outlet pipe, strictly prevent it from falling off, and prevent the liquid from leaking out; 9. The instrument should be regularly cleaned, and if not used for a long time, the medium in the tank should be emptied and wiped clean to maintain the cleanliness of the workbench and operation panel.
