Advantages of BTX:

1. Simple sample preparation

Usually, XRD experiments require the sample to be ground into fine powder and then pressed into pellets, because there needs to be enough microcrystals with arbitrary orientations in the sample for diffraction experiments. BTX has introduced patented technology to solve this problem. This usually only requires 15 milligrams of sample, and BTX causes complex oscillatory motion of the sample in the sample chamber. In this way, BTX can make the sample exhibit countless crystal orientations under X-ray. This has resulted in high-quality X-ray diffraction spectra, effectively eliminating the problem of preferred crystal orientation commonly encountered in diffraction experiments.

3. Integration of XRD and XRF technologies

Using a specially developed direct excitation CCD, BTX can simultaneously receive X-ray diffraction signals and fluorescence signals. This is because this special CCD can simultaneously detect the position and energy of photons. The energy resolution of 200eV (5.9Kev) enables BTX to perform XRF analysis in real-time and simply like browsing spectral displays.

4. Wireless connection

BTX relies on its own system, and users use the operating system (802.11b/g) through wireless connections. This unique operating method greatly improves the flexibility of device control and data processing, as well as the convenience of multi-user simultaneous operation.
