Multiple tasks with one tool
Whether it's manual or CNC measurement, online or offline programming, CALYPSO can handle it with ease. CALYPSO supports multi probe measurement and is compatible with all probes and measurement functions launched by Zeiss. Through the I++DME interface, CALYPSO allows you to control non Zeiss measurement systems such as 3D measuring machines, articulated arm measuring machines, laser trackers, and computed tomography systems.
Collision free fully automatic
After defining the features and related tolerance values of the workpiece with just a click of the mouse, CALYPSO will automatically generate corresponding measurement strategies, which can also be modified or applied to other features at any time. CALYPSO ensures that the probe is driven to move quickly around the workpiece without any collision, and then quickly and directly approach the part features - allowing you to easily handle other tasks.
Dynamic Mini Solutions
CALYPSO's layered design and feature oriented programming capabilities give you the flexibility to schedule measurement plans for production processes. For example, you can interrupt a running measurement task and quickly start measuring another part. The interrupted measurements can be easily restored later. Utilize VASTNavigator for more intelligent scanning. CALYPSO supports Zeiss' fifth generation scanning technology - VASTNavigator. VASTNavigotor can avoid unnecessary operational interruptions, allowing you to complete measurement tasks in one go using optimal methods and movement paths. The default setting is to approach the tangent direction. By fully integrating intelligent technology, CALYPSO can automatically determine higher scanning speeds based on the required accuracy requirements.

CALYPSOcurve
Measure and calculate two-dimensional and three-dimensional curves. Detectable features: curve slope, cam stroke, curve length, curve shape, surface area, etc. Application areas: crankshafts, camshafts, turbine blades, transmission devices.
CALYPSOfreeformsurfaces
Measurement of free-form surfaces. Deviations from theoretical values will be marked with colors. Typical application areas include medical technology, mold manufacturing, and engine manufacturing, which require the detection of numerous free-form surfaces in addition to regular geometric dimensions.
CALYPSOpreset
Preset discharge electricity and machining tools. When conducting manual measurements, guidance will be provided to users throughout the entire process through navigation tools. Can store commonly used measurement schemes. CNC extension components can be used for regular geometric dimensions such as squares and circles.
CALYPSOPCM
Control the measurement operation of supporting parameters through menu guidance. After being parameterized by CALYPSOPCM, the measurement scheme can efficiently measure the differences between workpieces.
myCALYPSO
MyCALYPSO turns your measuring machine into a flexible standard measuring tool. Standard measurement tasks such as measuring inner diameter or height can be stored as macros and reloaded with just a few clicks of the mouse.
CALYPSOsimulation
Virtual collision monitoring. Parts, fixtures, measuring needles, probes, base plates, turntables, measurement ranges, and the entire measuring machine can all be simulated in the CAD window. Combined with the use of CALYPSOplanner, the entire measurement process can be remotely generated and simulated offline.
CALYPSO/qs-STATexport
Export measurement results in Q-DAS format for analysis in QS-STAT statistical program. CALYPSOqs STATexport can convert the CALYPSO measurement result files obtained by CNC into Q-DAS descriptions and result files. By using QS-STAT software, you can evaluate the production process from a statistical perspective.
CALYPSOplanner
Offline version of CALYPSO. Write measurement programs offline using CALYPSOplanner. Your measuring machine will not be occupied by CALYPSOplanner, and you can run other measurement tasks simultaneously. CALYPSOplanner can save completed measurement programs. Afterwards, they can be loaded and run on CALYPSO at any time. Combined with CALYPSOsimulation, the entire measurement process can be remotely generated and simulated offline.
FACSautomation
FACS (Flexible Automation and Control System) can integrate measurement units into CIM automation environment. FACS can establish a connection between measurement units and process control computers, allowing you to launch measurement programs from a customized user interface.
