The CJ19 series switching capacitor contactor (hereinafter referred to as the contactor) is mainly used in power lines with AC 50Hz or 60Hz and rated working voltage up to 400V, for the purpose of low-voltage reactive power compensation equipment to put in or cut off low-voltage parallel capacitors. Scope of Application

The CJ19 series switching capacitor contactor (hereinafter referred to as the contactor) is mainly used in power lines with AC 50Hz or 60Hz and rated working voltage up to 400V, for the purpose of low-voltage reactive power compensation equipment to input or disconnect low-voltage parallel capacitors. The contactor is equipped with a surge suppression device, which can effectively reduce the impact of closing surge on the capacitor and suppress overvoltage during opening and closing.

Normal working conditions and installation conditions

The ambient air temperature ranges from -5 ℃ to+40 ℃, with an average value not exceeding+35 ℃ within 24 hours.
Altitude: not exceeding 2000m.
Atmospheric conditions: When the maximum temperature is+40 ℃, the relative humidity of the air does not exceed 50%; Higher relative humidity can be allowed at lower temperatures, such as reaching 90% at+20 ℃. Special measures should be taken for occasional condensation caused by temperature changes.
Pollution level: Level 3.
Installation category: Class III.
Installation conditions: The inclination angle between the installation surface and the vertical surface shall not exceed ± 5 °.
Shock and vibration: The product should be installed and used in a place without significant shaking, shock, and vibration.

structural characteristics

The CJ19 (CJ16) series switching capacitor contactor is a direct acting double break structure, with a contact system arranged in two layers. The upper layer consists of three pairs of pre charged contacts and a matching resistor to form a surge suppression device. When the circuit is closed, it is first connected for a few milliseconds before the working contact is connected. The permanent magnetic block in the pre charged contact is released under the reaction of the spring, disconnecting the contact resistor and allowing the capacitor to work normally. The internal circuit connection of the contactor is shown in the diagram.
The 2.12, 18, and 20Kvar contactors have two pairs of auxiliary contacts, while the 30Kvar contactor has three pairs of auxiliary contacts.
3. The contactor terminals are covered with insulation covers, ensuring safety and reliability. The coil terminals are labeled with voltage data to prevent misconnection. 12. The 18 and 20Kvar contactors can be installed with screws or fastened onto a 35mm standard rail using the bottom slider. There is a detachable rectangular white plaque on the face mask, which users can use to print project codes.

Contactors CJ19-25~43 have two pairs of auxiliary contacts, while contactors CJ19-63~95 have three pairs of auxiliary contacts. The CJ19-115~170 contactor comes with a pair of auxiliary contacts.

This series of contactors can be installed not only with screws, but also with standard rail quick insertion method. For CJ19-25, 32, and 43 contactors, the rail width is 35mm. For CJ19-63, 80, and 95 contactors, the rail width is either 35mm or 75mm.
