COSMOSIL Poria cocos detection chromatographic column

COSMOSIL Sugar-D chromatographic column
A new type of stationary phase suitable for sugar analysis, which has excellent durability compared to traditional aminopropyl columns. Most sugars are low hydrophobic compounds, so they cannot be retained in general C18 stationary phases. COSMOSIL Sugar-D is specifically designed for separating sugars.
At present, when analyzing monosaccharides and polysaccharides, amino propyl fillers are often used(Aminopropyl is used as the stationary phase. Due to its poor durability, various problems such as adsorption and tailing may occur when analyzing the types of sugars. COSMOSIL Sugar-D has currently solved the above problems and achieved better separation efficiency. Besides,COSMOSIL Sugar-D, a hydrophilic compound that was not retained on a C18 (ODS) column, also showed good dissociation efficiency.
Durability:
Compared with the amino C columns currently sold in the market, COSMOSIL Sugar-D has almost no problem with retention time under 100% water conditions.
Adsorption capacity:
The reaction between the aldehyde group of sugars and the amino group of fillers can cause adsorption phenomena. However, COSMOSIL Sugar-D does not undergo adsorption reactions due to its design technology. Using amino propane as a filler column for analysis will definitely result in adsorption phenomenon, while COSMOSIL Sugar-D analysis of the same sample did not show adsorption phenomenon. COSMOSIL Sugar-D has excellent qualitative and quantitative capabilities, especially in low concentration areas.
