Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2025 Edition - Determination of Rhodiola Content

Using Positisil ODS-AQ 120A 5um 4.6X250mm chromatographic column, the content of Rhodiola was determined by high-performance liquid chromatography according to the 2025 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia. The detection of salidroside met the experimental requirements.

System Applicability Requirements

The number of theoretical plates calculated based on the peak of salidroside should not be less than 2000

Sample configuration

Preparation of reference solution: Take an appropriate amount of salidroside reference substance, accurately weigh it, and add methanol to make a solution containing 0.5mg per 1ml.

Preparation of test solution: Take about 0.5g of the powder of this product (sieved through the third sieve), weigh it accurately, place it in a conical flask with a stopper, add 10ml of methanol accurately, seal the stopper, weigh it, sonicate for 30 minutes, let it cool, weigh it again, make up for the weight loss with methanol, shake well, filter, and take the continuous filtrate.
