Overview
The chitosan spray dryer introduces hot air at the top of the drying tower, and at the same time sends the feed liquid to the top of the tower, which is sprayed into atomized droplets through the atomizer. These droplets have a large surface area. After contacting with the high-temperature hot air, the water evaporates rapidly, and becomes a drying product in a very short time. After the hot air discharged from the bottom of the drying tower contacts with the droplets, the temperature decreases significantly, and the humidity increases. It is extracted as waste gas by the exhaust fan. The particles entrained in the waste gas are recovered by the separation device.
Product Details

Chitosan, also known as deacetylated chitin, soluble chitin, or glucosamine, is obtained by deacetylating chitin. Chitin is replaced by an acetylamino group, while chitosan is replaced by an amino group. This makes chitosan one of the rare alkaline polysaccharides in natural polymers.

IIChitosan spray dryerProcess Overview

Set appropriate parameters based on the properties of chitosan solution and product requirements. The inlet air temperature is generally controlled at 120-180 ℃. If the temperature is too high, chitosan may decompose; The temperature is too low and the water evaporation is insufficient. The outlet air temperature is controlled at 60-90 ℃, and the feeding speed is adjusted according to the model and performance of the spray dryer, which is generally 5-20 mL/min.
