This provides air purifier manufacturers with more flexibility in designing separate filters for different products. For example, air purifiers designed for haze can weaken the thickness of activated carbon and other filters appropriately to maintain the same volume and strengthen the thickness of HEPA filters. At the same time, due to the ability to produce filters in layers, manufacturers can significantly reduce production costs, which is also one of the reasons why most mid to low end air purifiers currently use combination filters.
