Digital plant pressure chamber

1Purpose:

Measure the water potential of fleshy, herbaceous, and woody plant leaves or branches.

IIPrinciple:

Leaves or branches are clamped in the sample chamber and pressurized with gas to observe the pressure at which the first drop of tissue fluid seeps out.
