Overview
The glass fiber microwave dryer is a microwave composite drying production line that uses the principle of microwave-assisted drying to quickly reduce the moisture content of short cut glass fibers to below 1% within 5 minutes at temperatures below 90 degrees Celsius. The microwave glass fiber short cut drying equipment adopts fully automatic control, and only one person is needed to operate the entire production line. There is no dust generated during the production process, and the glass fiber maintains its original color and shape.
Product Details
Glass fiber microwave dryerIt is a microwave composite drying production line that uses the principle of microwave-assisted drying to quickly reduce the moisture content of short cut glass fibers to below 1% within 5 minutes at temperatures below 90 degrees Celsius. The microwave glass fiber short cut drying equipment adopts fully automatic control, and only one person is needed to operate the entire production line. There is no dust generated during the production process, and the glass fiber maintains its original color and shape.

Glass fiber microwave dryerIt can be used for drying and curing of glass products such as fiberboard, chopped fibers, ground fibers, glass fiber cloth, glass fiber textiles, glass fiber mesh, aluminum silicate fiber felt, ceramic fibers, untwisted rovings, and untwisted rovings fabrics. So it is also known as fiberboard drying equipment, glass fiber mesh drying and curing machine, etc
Compared with conventional drying, microwave drying has the following obvious advantages:
1. The water removal inside and outside the glass fiber is relatively uniform, which enhances the adhesion between the coating (organic silicon) and the surface of the glass fiber, and can quickly reduce the moisture content of short cut fibers to below 1% within 5 minutes.
2. When glass fiber is formed by wire drawing, there may be very fine cracks on its surface. Due to microwave heating, water vapor migrates from the inner layer to the outer layer, causing a large external expansion force of steam pressure in the inner layer, allowing cracks on the surface of the glass fiber to penetrate more effectively than traditional heating and drying methods, and improving the strength of the glass fiber.
3. Traditional heating and drying methods take longer than 20 hours to dry glass fibers, and they are prone to yellowing. When the temperature of the heat medium is high, glass fibers are exposed to high temperatures for a long time, which has a significant impact on their strength. In contrast, microwave drying methods have a shorter drying time, requiring only 5 minutes to reduce the moisture content to below 1%, and have a smaller impact on the strength of glass fibers.
4. The appearance of glass fiber products dried by microwave is clean, white, moist, flexible, strong, low hydrophobicity, easy coloring and spinning, and has strong market competitiveness in similar products.
5. The microwave composite drying production line of glass fiber short cut wire drying equipment adopts fully automatic control, greatly reducing the amount of manual use.
