1、 Engineering background and preliminary preparationIntegrated intelligent interception equipment for Chunqin Industrial Park in Xinwu District, Wuxi

As a key industrial agglomeration area in the region, Chunqin Industrial Park in Xinwu District, Wuxi City, has been facing problems such as mixed rain and sewage flow and initial rainwater pollution in recent years. In response to the Wuxi Water Pollution Prevention and Control Action Plan, the park will launch an integrated intelligent interception equipment installation project in November 2025, aiming to achieve precise interception of pollution through intelligent means and improve the level of water environment governance in the park.

1. Scheme design
The project team combines the layout of the park's pipeline network and adopts the "Internet of Things+interception well" technology solution. The equipment core includes: intelligent diversion device: through the linkage of liquid level sensors and electric gates, automatic switching between rain and sewage is achieved; Remote monitoring platform: real-time collection of traffic and water quality data, synchronized to the smart water management system in the park;
-Anti backflow design: equipped with double check valves to prevent sewage from flowing back during flood season.

2. Standardized construction process formulation
According to the Technical Regulations for Urban Drainage Network Renovation (CJJ/T 285-2025), the construction party has developed a "six step" installation process:
① On site investigation: using pipeline robots to identify existing pipeline leakage points;
② Excavation support: Set up steel sheet pile support according to the requirements of Grade IV soil;
③ Equipment hoisting: Use a 50 ton truck crane to ensure zero collision of precision components;
④ Electrical wiring: Cable joint treatment with waterproof rating up to IP68;
⑤ Linkage commissioning: simulate the rainstorm working condition to test the gate response speed (≤ 3 seconds);
⑥ Acceptance filing: A third-party testing agency shall issue a cut-off efficiency report (≥ 90%).

2、 Specialized installation of key components
1. Construction of foundation pit and safety guarantee: The excavation depth is 5.2 meters, and the "layered excavation+light well point dewatering" process is adopted to monitor the slope displacement daily; Set up hard enclosures and gas detectors in the work area to prevent risks in confined space operations.

2. Equipment integration installation main body in place: Lift the pre assembled integrated interception well (specification Φ 1800 × 3100mm) to the concrete cushion layer, with a horizontal error controlled within ± 2mm; Pipeline docking: The original DN800 sewage pipe is connected by flange, and the rubber sealing ring needs to pass a 24-hour air tightness test.

3. Intelligent system debugging and sensor calibration: The deviation between the ultrasonic flowmeter and the municipal monitoring platform data is ≤ 3%; Emergency mode: In the event of a power outage, the backup power supply can maintain the opening and closing of the gate for more than 5 times.

3、 Technological Innovation and Quality ControlIntegrated intelligent interception equipment for Chunqin Industrial Park in Xinwu District, Wuxi

1. Modular prefabrication technology
The equipment is assembled 90% in the factory and only takes 8 hours to assemble on site, which shortens the construction period by 60% compared to traditional processes.

2. Digital acceptance system
Use BIM models to compare construction deviations, retain image data of key nodes (such as weld inspection records), and include them in the "Smart Construction Site" supervision system of the Housing and Urban Rural Development Bureau.

3. Environmental protection measures
Construction wastewater is reused after three-stage sedimentation; Impact drills are prohibited during noise sensitive periods (22:00-6:00 at night).

4、 Effectiveness and promotional value
The project passed the completion acceptance on December 15, 2025. During the trial operation, a total of 12000 tons of sewage were intercepted, and the COD reduction reached 35 tons. This case provides a replicable technological paradigm for sewage interception in the Yangtze River Delta Industrial Zone, and its experience has been included in the "Jiangsu Province Urban Drainage Intelligent Construction Guidelines (2026 Edition)"
