During atmosphere protection experiments, other gases such as nitrogen, hydrogen, etc. can be directly introduced to prevent oxidation and decarburization of high-temperature heated workpieces. This is used for high-temperature sintering, quenching, and other heat treatment processes under gas protection. If high-purity process is required, a vacuum pump should be equipped to first extract air from the furnace, then fill it with inert gas, and increase the pressure as needed to ensure the high purity of the inert gas; When conducting vacuum high-temperature experiments, it is necessary to extract the vacuum inside the furnace before heating up. Precautions for using a vacuum box furnace: A. Before heating up, the cooling device interface needs to be connected with coolant; B. It is strictly prohibited to raise the temperature without atmosphere protection or in a non vacuum state, or by placing objects with gas expansion.
