Main features

3. All temperature detection uses imported PT100 resistance temperature sensors, which have stable performance and good linearity.
When the concentration of O2 gas is less than 19.8%, high-purity N2 gas and CO2 gas are used to ensure the accuracy of CO2 gas concentration and O2 concentration.

There are significant differences between a three gas incubator and a regular incubator in terms of functionality and application scenarios. The following is a specific comparison:
1. Control parameters
Three gas incubator: capable of regulating the concentrations of oxygen (O ₂), carbon dioxide (CO ₂), and nitrogen (N ₂) gases, while accurately controlling temperature and humidity. For example, oxygen concentration can be rapidly reduced by injecting nitrogen gas, and oxygen levels can be precisely controlled (such as low oxygen levels of 1% -5%), simulating the special microenvironment in the body (such as tumor cells). In addition, the O ₂ concentration control range of the three gas incubator is usually set arbitrarily within the range of 020% or 125%, and intelligent PID control based on microcomputer data analysis is used to ensure the accuracy of measurement data.
Ordinary incubators typically do not have a carbon dioxide control system and only provide basic temperature control functions. There is less humidity control, mainly relying on placing water trays or other basic methods. The temperature control range is wider and can be set to multiple temperatures to meet different experimental needs, but it is usually not optimized specifically for mammalian cells.
2. Application scenarios
Three gas incubator: suitable for experiments that require precise control of gas environment, such as stem cell differentiation (low oxygen promotes stem cell self-renewal), tumor microenvironment simulation (low oxygen conditions), primary cell culture (such as neurons and cardiomyocytes), anaerobic microbial culture (extremely low oxygen environment) and other cutting-edge research.
Ordinary incubator: mainly used for microbial cultivation, yeast fermentation, plant seed germination, chemical reactions, or other experiments that do not require special gas environments. It is suitable for applications that do not require control of CO ₂ concentration, such as bacterial cultivation, environmental simulation experiments, etc.
3. Equipment design
Three gas incubator: The structure is complex and requires the consumption of CO ₂ gas. It is usually equipped with a gas controller and a cell culture chamber, making it easy to move, install, and clean for maintenance. Some models also have a high-temperature moist heat sterilization system, which can comprehensively disinfect the incubator.
Ordinary incubator: The design is relatively simple and usually does not require complex gas control and humidity regulation devices. Its multi-purpose design allows it to adapt to different types of experiments, but it is not as precise as a three gas incubator in terms of control.
