1、 Working principle:

1. Liquid atomization: The liquid that needs to be dried is sent into the atomization system through a peristaltic pump. In the atomization system, liquid is atomized into tiny droplets. The size of droplets is crucial for drying efficiency and quality, and typically the finer the droplets, the better the drying effect.

2. Heat exchange: These tiny droplets then enter the drying chamber and come into contact with low-temperature air that has passed through a low dew point (usually the inlet temperature can be controlled at around 35 ° C). Due to the large contact area between fog droplets and low dew point air, rapid heat and mass exchange can occur. Under low temperature conditions, this exchange can maintain the active ingredients and properties of the material, avoiding damage to the material caused by high temperatures.

3. Drying and collection: Within a short period of time, the moisture in the droplets is rapidly evaporated and taken away, while the liquid material is dried into powder form. The dried powder is collected through systems such as cyclone separators or bag filters. These systems can effectively separate powder from exhaust gas, ensuring the purity of the product.
4. Closed cycle: different from the conventional spray dryer, the low-temperature closed cycle spray dryer uses a closed cycle system. This means that (inert gas) recycling is used during the drying process. For materials handling organic solvents, the system uses inert gas media such as circulating nitrogen instead of the usual air medium to prevent combustion or explosion of organic solvents. In addition, the system also has a solvent recovery system with a solvent recovery rate of ≥ 98%, which improves resource utilization.
