The spherical vacuum concentration tank mainly consists of six components: concentration tank, condenser, gas-liquid separator, second condenser, cooler, and receiving bucket. The specification series includes 500L and 1000L, with a jacket structure for the concentration tank, a tubular condenser, a baffle separator, and a serpentine cooler. Vacuum distillation, in order to reduce the liquid surface pressure and correspondingly lower the boiling point of the liquid material, because liquid distillation proceeds most quickly at the boiling point, the vacuum degree is adjusted by the user according to the thermal sensitivity of the liquid material. The spherical vacuum concentration tank adopts vacuum concentration, so the concentration time is short and the effective components of thermosensitive materials will not be destroyed.
The contact part between the spherical vacuum concentration tank and the material is made of stainless steel, which has good corrosion resistance, durability, and meets GMP pharmaceutical standards.
Operation Method
When using a spherical vacuum concentration tank, open the vacuum and feed valves, draw the liquid into the tank, and when the liquid level in the tank reaches a certain height, close the feed valve and slowly open the steam inlet valve. After boiling the liquid in the tank for a few minutes, pay attention to maintaining the steam pressure and vacuum program at that time (temperature control can also be used to ensure normal boiling). The distilled liquid passes through the separator, with some of it refluxing into the main tank. The non condensable part is condensed into liquid through the condenser and enters the receiving bucket for addition or discharge. After concentration is completed, the vacuum port and steam port valves are closed, and the vent port (i.e. straight nozzle plug valve) is opened for atmospheric pressure discharge.
