Rtx-1701 is widely used in capillary gas chromatography and is one of the more popular stationary phases. The mixture of cyanide and phenyl functional groups increases the polarity of the column, providing different elution sequences compared to the lower polarity Rtx-1 or Rtx-5 columns. Combining Rtx-1701 column with Rtx-35 or Rtx-5 column can be used for ideal confirmation analysis. We have comprehensively characterized the polymer to ensure long-term reproducibility, consistency between columns, and low loss even when using sensitive detectors such as ECD and MSD.
