The drum screen mainly consists of a motor, a reducer, a drum device, a frame, a sealing cover, and an inlet and outlet. The drum screen device is installed obliquely on the frame. The electric motor is connected to the drum screening device through a coupling via a reducer, driving the drum device to rotate around its axis. After the material enters the drum device, due to the tilt and rotation of the drum device, the material on the screen surface flips and rolls, allowing qualified materials to be discharged through the outer circular sieve of the drum, and unqualified materials to be discharged through the end of the drum. Due to the flipping and rolling of materials inside the drum, materials stuck in the sieve holes can be ejected to prevent blockage of the sieve holes. The machine itself runs smoothly, with low noise, simple structure, and easy maintenance. The reliability of the entire machine is high, which can reduce users' investment. The drum screen is finely crafted, sturdy and wear-resistant. The steel frame is welded with section steel, and the funnel volume is large. It is welded from steel plates and can be equipped with five funnels for discharge. The funnel mouth is connected, and the material can be fed to both sides or one side, making it easy to transport or self flow, increasing production and preventing clogging and wear on the screen mesh, which may delay production. The main structure of the drum screening machine is the screening cylinder, which is composed of several circular mesh screens that are inclined to the ground plane as a whole. The outside is sealed by a sealed isolation cover to prevent environmental pollution.
The drum screening machine uses a variable speed reduction system to rotate the screening cylinder at a certain speed. The material is separated from top to bottom through the screening cylinder, and fine material is discharged from the lower front end of the screening cylinder, while coarse material is discharged from the lower tail end of the screening cylinder. The drum type screening machine runs slowly and evenly during use, with minimal impact and vibration, stable operation, simple installation, and sometimes even no specialized foundation is required. It can be directly placed on a flat ground or floor slab and under the silo.
