The stainless steel double cone rotary vacuum dryer is an ideal intermittent (batch) equipment that utilizes the principles of vacuum low-temperature and rotary mixing to efficiently, uniformly, and cleanly dry and mix high-value, heat sensitive, and easily oxidizable powder and slurry materials. Structure of stainless steel double cone rotary vacuum dryer:
Stainless steel:
Material: Usually made of 304 or 316L stainless steel.
Purpose: To ensure that the equipment is rust free, pollution-free, easy to clean, and meets the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements of industries such as pharmaceuticals and food.
Double cone:
Structure: The main body is a symmetrical double conical tank.
Purpose: This structure enables optimal flow and mixing of materials during the rotation of the tank, without dead corners. The conical structure also facilitates the unloading of materials.
'Rotation':
Motion: The entire double cone tank is supported by shafts at both ends and driven by a transmission system to rotate uniformly 360 degrees in the horizontal direction.
Purpose: To continuously flip and mix the materials inside the tank, exposing new surfaces, achieving uniform drying, and preventing clumping.
Vacuum drying:
Environment: The entire drying process is carried out in a sealed vacuum environment.
Purpose:
Lowering boiling point: Under vacuum, the boiling point of water is significantly reduced, and the material can be quickly dried at lower temperatures (such as 40-60 ℃), making it very suitable for thermosensitive materials.
Remove moisture: Create a pressure difference to drive the diffusion and evaporation of moisture (or solvent) inside the material.
Preventing oxidation: The anaerobic environment prevents the material from being oxidized during the drying process, maintaining the activity, color, and quality of the material.
