foreword:
China's agriculture is relatively developed, and every year a large amount of agricultural waste is not effectively utilized, resulting in waste and even environmental pollution. These agricultural wastes are collectively referred to as biomass, and biomass gasifiers generate combustible gases through a series of physical and chemical reactions. After recycling, they can be used as energy, which will reduce the use of non renewable resources such as petroleum and coal.

Working principle:
Common biomass includes straw, wood and firewood, wild grass, pine needles and leaves, crop straw, dry cow and sheep manure, edible mushroom residue. Gasification refers to the energy conversion process that produces thermal chemical reactions under high temperature and oxygen deficient conditions. The atoms of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and other elements in the plant matter generate combustible gases such as carbon monoxide, methane and hydrogen according to the principle of chemical bonding under reaction conditions.

technological process:
Firstly, dry biomass affects gasification efficiency. For rice husk and straw sawdust with low moisture content and relatively fine specifications, it can be naturally air dried before entering the gasification furnace. However, for biomass with high moisture content such as fruit shells and wood, it needs to be crushed and dried. Generally, it is better to crush it into a length of 3mm-30mm (the pre-treatment of raw materials has a small impact on tar content and mainly affects gasification efficiency). Then, the material is put into a gasification generator, and after four steps of drying, thermal decomposition (also known as dry distillation), reduction, and oxidation, combustible gas is generated. It is then removed by a dust collector, sprayed through a purifier, a steam water separator, a filter, and finally sent out by a fan. Among them, the drying process requires a temperature of 100-700 degrees Celsius, the thermal decomposition layer requires 300-800 degrees Celsius, the reduction layer requires about 900 degrees Celsius, and the oxidation layer requires about 1200 degrees Celsius
The production process of a gasifier is generally divided into two types: upward suction and downward suction. Simply put, upward suction refers to the process where raw materials are fed from the upper inlet, and after the above steps, combustible gas is generated. Finally, a fan is used to force air at the bottom, and the gas is output at the upper part of the gasifier. Due to the downward suction fixed bed gasification process, tar can be cracked again, which can reduce the tar content in the product. Therefore, the current application process is mainly based on suction fixed bed generators.
Development prospects:
The biomass gasifier produced by Jieheng Machinery is suitable for providing thermal energy to equipment such as river sand dryers and carbonization machines, and can replace the main heating method mainly based on coal. It has the characteristics of convenient operation, environmental protection, and green, and is suitable for forestry, animal husbandry, and planting industries.
Due to the continuous rise in prices of non renewable resources such as coal and oil in recent years, as well as the increasingly serious problem of environmental pollution, energy security issues are related to national economic development. Finding alternatives is the future development trend, so biomass gasifiers will have great development space.
