Thermogravimetric analysis (TG, TGA) is the process of observing the mass of a sample as a function of temperature or time during heating, constant temperature, or cooling. Widely used in research and development, process optimization, and quality monitoring in various fields such as plastics, rubber, coatings, pharmaceuticals, catalysts, inorganic materials, metal materials, and composite materials.

Nike's thermogravimetric analyzer is equipped with an electronic weighing system, which is a vacuum sealed vertical top loading system. Thermocouples are used to directly measure the temperature of the sample. During thermogravimetric testing, the c-DTA function can also be used to obtain more information about the sample's heat absorption/release effects.
The NETZSCH thermogravimetric analyzer can be equipped with a coupling adapter with heating function, and its vertically optimized structural design makes it particularly suitable for coupling with Fourier transform infrared or gas chromatography-mass spectrometry for detecting escaping gases during reactions or decomposition processes to obtain more information.
The NETZSCH thermogravimetric analyzer can be combined with Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) or gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (QMS) to obtain DSC/TG data and further detect the escaping gases in the reaction, obtaining more information about the material.
The upper limit temperature of the NETZSCH single thermogravimetric analyzer is 1000 ℃, and it is widely used in fields such as polymer materials, pharmaceuticals, food, and organic chemistry. For applications in higher temperature ranges, you can chooseSTAThe series of instruments combines TG and DSC functions into one, with an upper limit temperature of up to 2400 ℃, and can also be equipped with a single thermogravimetric support for separate high-temperature thermogravimetric measurements.
Netzsch TG meets the following standards:
ISO 11358, ISO/DIS 9924, ASTM E 1131, ASTM D 3850, DIN 51006.
The TG 209 F3 Tarsus thermogravimetric analyzer launched by Nike ®, Compared to DSC 200 F3 Maia ® Together, they form the cost-effective F3 instrument series, which is not only suitable for quality testing in the polymer field, but also for routine applications in organic chemistry, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and food.
TG 209 F3 has an ultra-high weighing resolution of 0.1 μ g, with a temperature range of room temperature to 1000 ℃, and a heating rate that can be set arbitrarily within the range of 0 K/min to 100 K/min. Due to the direct contact of the temperature measuring thermocouple with the bottom of the sample crucible, the accuracy of sample temperature measurement is ensured. The overall structure of the instrument is a vertical sample loading system, with an automatic lifting of the sample holder, without any hanging wires or any exposed and easily damaged components, high reliability, and easy operation and maintenance.
Optional c-DTA ® The function is not only applicable for temperature calibration of instruments, but also provides important information about sample thermal effects (including volatilization with mass change, decomposition and melting without mass change, glass transition, etc.) during thermogravimetric measurement.
TG 209 F3 can be equipped with an automatic sampler (ASC) that includes 20 sample grades, and different crucible types can be used in combination during the same automatic sampling process.
