Testing principle of thin film oxygen permeability tester
The processed sample is clamped onto the testing chamber, with oxygen or air flowing on one side of the membrane and high-purity nitrogen flowing on the other side of the membrane. Oxygen molecules diffuse through the membrane into the high-purity nitrogen on the other side and are carried by the flowing nitrogen to the sensor. By analyzing the oxygen concentration measured by the sensor, oxygen permeability test data is obtained after reaching permeation equilibrium.
