The YMC Pack ODS-AL chromatographic column is an unsealed high carbon content monolayer C18 phase, which not only exhibits hydrophobic interactions but also secondary interactions generated by silanol groups. When the interaction between ions is optimized, it is highly suitable for chromatographic separation in mobile phases containing buffer solutions, and can obtain highly reproducible chromatograms. However, due to the tendency for tailing peaks, it is not recommended to use it in the analysis of amines or compounds containing alkaline groups.
