Operation and maintenance procedures for stainless steel colloid mill

Stainless steel colloid mill is a common sample preparation equipment, commonly used in tasks such as crushing, stirring, dispersing, emulsifying, and mixing. Today, the editor will introduce the operating procedures and maintenance methods of stainless steel colloid mills.
  Operating Procedures
1、 Preparation work
1. Confirm that the colloid mill is properly connected to the power supply, inlet and outlet pipelines;
2. Check if the grinding bucket is clean and install the grinding roller accurately;
3. Select the appropriate grinding medium according to the experimental requirements.
2、 Power on operation
1. Turn on the power and turn on the switch of the internal low-temperature water pump;
2. Adjust the potentiometer and set the appropriate grinding time and speed:
3. Adjust the feeding lever and add the grinding material into the grinding drum.
3、 Precautions for use
1. Before each use, the grinding cylinder should be checked for cleanliness. If it is not clean, it should be promptly cleaned and wiped clean
2. During the grinding process, do not put your hands into the inlet and outlet to avoid danger;
3. Grinding materials should be selected according to experimental requirements and should not exceed their capacity.
4、 Shutdown operation
1. Turn off the power and turn off the switch of the low-temperature water pump inside;
2. Remove the grinding roller from the grinding cylinder, clean it, wipe it dry, and put it back in its original position;
3. Extract all the air from the grinding cylinder and cover the grinding cover again

Stainless steel colloid mill is an efficient and durable laboratory equipment, and proper maintenance can extend its service life. The following are maintenance suggestions:
1、 Daily maintenance
1. During the grinding process, attention should be paid to the physical properties of the material, the degree of wear of the sample should be understood, and the medium should be added in a timely manner;
2. After grinding, the surface and interior of the machine should be wiped in a timely manner to remove residual grinding materials;
3. When storing the machine, ensure that the grinding cylinder is dry and clean, and prevent dust accumulation.
2、 Regular maintenance
1. The instrument is regularly sent to three parties or authoritative departments for maintenance every year to ensure the accuracy of the disk operation;
2. Regularly inspect the power cords, electrical equipment, and internal components of the machine to ensure they are functioning properly, and perform necessary repairs and maintenance;
3. If there is abnormal noise or other malfunction during the operation of the grinding disc, the machine should be shut down in a timely manner and the fault should be eliminated.
