Process flow of multi-layer belt dryer
Date: 2025-02-24Read: 6
Multi layer belt dryer is a drying equipment widely used in industries such as food, chemical, and pharmaceutical. It adopts multi-layer steel wire mesh belt as the transmission structure, and dries the material through hot air circulation.
The process flow of multi-layer belt dryer generally includes the following steps:
1. Material feeding
There are various ways to feed materials into multi-layer belt dryers, such as manual feeding and screw conveyors. Prior to material feeding, it is necessary to mix and pre process the materials.
2. Material pretreatment
Multi layer belt dryer is suitable for drying various materials such as granular, flaky, powdery, fibrous, etc. Different types of materials require different preprocessing. For example, for materials with high humidity, dehydration treatment is required first.
3. Material transportation
Material transportation is a crucial step in the drying process. The multi-layer belt dryer adopts multi-layer steel wire mesh belt as the transmission structure, and operates in a belt loop to transport materials to the drying area.
4. Drying treatment
Drying treatment is the core part of multi-layer belt dryer. The air in the drying area is heated by a circulating fan, and the heated air flows towards the drying area to blow the material and evaporate the moisture.
5. Post drying treatment
After the material is dried, it needs to be cooled. Usually, natural air cooling is used, or a cooler is used to cool the material.
6. Product Collection
Product collection is the final step after drying. The multi-layer belt dryer transports the dried materials to the product collection area for packaging or storage processing.
