The working principle of vacuum rake dryer mainly includes the following aspects:
• Structural composition: The vacuum rake dryer is mainly composed of a shell, a rotating shaft, and rake teeth. The rake teeth device consists of two sets of rake teeth with opposite angles, left and right, which are respectively fitted on both sides of the transmission shaft.
• Working process: Wet materials are added from the middle of the dryer shell, and a heating medium (such as water vapor, thermal oil, or hot water) is introduced into the jacket. After starting the vacuum pump to reach the specified vacuum degree, start the stirring device. The forward and reverse rotation of the rake teeth continuously pushes the material towards the middle and both ends during the drying process, while the crushing rod between the rake teeth vibrates and crushes the material stuck to the wall of the machine.
• Heat transfer method: The vacuum rake dryer adopts a simultaneous heating method of interlayer and internal stirring, with a large heat transfer surface and high thermal efficiency. The material is constantly stirred by the rotating rake teeth, and its surface is constantly updated. It is indirectly heated by steam, causing the moisture in the material to vaporize. The vaporized moisture is promptly extracted by a vacuum pump.
Characteristics and applications of vacuum rake dryer:
Applicable materials: Suitable for drying slurry, paste, granular, and fibrous materials, especially for heat sensitive materials and drying operations that require the recovery of organic vapors, it has significant advantages.
Industry applications: Widely used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, and chemicals. Suitable for drying materials that are prone to oxidation, explosion, strong irritation, and highly toxic, and can recover organic solvents.
• Operating characteristics: easy to operate, low labor intensity, fast drying speed, high heat utilization rate. The material is heated evenly during the drying process, avoiding overheating of the material.
