1、 Hardware installation and initialization
1. Battery installation and power on
Pry open the back cover to install the battery (pay attention to the direction of the positive and negative poles), tilt the battery and push it inward to secure it with the buckle.After installation, confirm that the screen is displaying normally. Some models require long pressing the power button to start.
2. Sensor/probe inspection
Check if the probe is intact. If there are stains, clean it with warm water and soap, and disinfect and dry it with 70% medical alcohol.If it is an external sensor, it is necessary to ensure a stable connection with the host interface.
2、 Equipment setup and calibration
1. Time and Unit Settings
Time calibration: Press and hold the MODE key to enter the setting mode, adjust the hour/minute using the ADJ key, and confirm by pressing the MODE key.
Temperature unit switching: Short press the C/℉ key or the "unit" button to switch between Celsius/Fahrenheit.
2. Data recording mode selection
View historical maximum/minimum values through the MAX/MIN keys, or set to real-time monitoring mode.
Some devices support automatic recording of interval settings (please refer to the specific model manual).
3、 Data collection and operation
1. Start collection
Insert the probe into the environment to be tested (such as soil that needs to be penetrated 10-15cm), and press the "START" button to start collecting.
After the screen displays real-time temperature and humidity data, let it stand for 2-3 minutes to ensure stable values.
2. Remote monitoring and linkage
Bluetooth model: Turn on Bluetooth on the phone, pair devices through apps such as Mi Home, bind accounts, and remotely view data.
It needs to be paired with a Bluetooth gateway to achieve remote access across networks.
4、 Data Management and Export
1. Local reading
View current data directly through the device screen or switch to history mode.
2. Computer data export
Install supporting software (such as RC-4&5_Cnventional), connect the device via USB, and import data.
Some apps support generating data reports and exporting them in Excel/PDF format.
5、 Maintenance and Precautions
1. Daily maintenance
Regularly clean the probe and body with a soft cloth to prevent corrosive liquids from coming into contact with the sensor.
Remove the battery when not in use for a long time to prevent leakage and damage to the equipment.
2. Fault handling
Restart the device or reinstall the battery when data is abnormal.
When the screen displays "LO" or flashes a prompt, the battery needs to be replaced.
6、 Advanced features (optional)
1. Alarm settings
Set temperature and humidity thresholds on the app or device, and trigger sound/icon alarms when exceeded.
2. Intelligent linkage
Create automated tasks through apps such as Mi Home, such as automatically turning on humidifiers or air conditioners when humidity exceeds the limit.
