1、 Preparation before operation
1. Equipment inspection
Confirm that the kettle body has no cracks or deformations, and the sealing surface is intact and undamaged.
There is no abnormal noise during the operation of the mixer, and the lubrication in the oil box is sufficient (the reducer needs to be filled with 46 # engine oil).
Verify that thermometers, pressure gauges, safety valves, and other instruments are in normal condition.
2. Media and Environment
Clean the residue inside the kettle to ensure there are no impurities.
Check the cooling water pressure (0.1-0.2 MPa) and ensure stable power supply voltage.
3. Anti static measures
Connect static jumper wires, especially when handling flammable solvents.
2、 Running operation
1. Feeding start
Start stirring first, confirm smooth operation, and then slowly feed the material, with the material volume not exceeding 80% of the kettle capacity.
The feeding sequence must strictly follow the process requirements, and direct mixing of solid and liquid materials is prohibited to cause stratification.
2. Temperature control
Steam heating: First open the return valve, then slowly open the valve and gradually increase the temperature in a stepwise manner (jacket pressure ≤ rated value).
Electric heating: Set the heating rate to avoid material stress cracking caused by sudden temperature rise.
Real time monitoring of the temperature inside the kettle, with a temperature difference of ≤ 40 ℃ between the upper and lower parts.
3. Exception handling
Stop the vehicle immediately for maintenance in case of abnormal noise, vibration, or pressure.
The condensate discharge should be unobstructed to prevent deformation of the kettle body.
3、 Parking and maintenance
1. Terminate reaction
Stop heating/stirring and cool naturally to a safe temperature (cold water rapid cooling is prohibited).
After releasing pressure, open the lid and first exhaust any residual gas (such as replacing it with nitrogen).
2. Cleaning standards
Clean the inner wall with neutral solvent and avoid using alkaline water or hard brushes to avoid damaging the stainless steel surface.
Separate and dry the PTFE lining for storage.
3. Regular maintenance
The gearbox needs to change the engine oil every six months, and the seals should be checked and replaced regularly.
According to the annual inspection of pressure vessels, use is prohibited if the inspection fails.
4、 Key safety warning
1. Prohibited behavior
The steam valve and cooling valve cannot be opened simultaneously.
Prohibit low boiling point volatile solvents such as acetone and benzene (explosion-proof).
2. Operation protection
Cut off the power and hang a warning sign when shoveling materials.
High temperature and high pressure reactions require wearing protective face shields and insulated gloves.
