Sugar coating machines are widely used in the pharmaceutical industry for pill and tablet coating, polishing, and can also be used for rolling, wrapping, and mixing spherical or granular materials in the food and chemical industries. This machine has a compact structure and is easy to maintain.
Below, the editor will briefly introduce the operating procedures of the sugar coating machine, as follows:
1. Equipment inspection
Before starting up, check if all fasteners are loose, and clean and disinfect the inside and outside of the sugar coated pot with alcohol.
Check whether the air compression system and spray gun pipeline are normal, and ensure that the lubrication system has sufficient oil.
2. No load trial operation
Start the main motor to idle for 2 minutes, confirm that the sugar coating pot rotates clockwise and runs smoothly without any abnormal noise.
Test the temperature control function of the blower and electric heating wire, and check the hot air circulation system.
3. Production operation
The amount of material loaded shall not exceed 2/3 of the capacity of the sugar coating pot, and shall be operated in five steps: isolation layer → powder coating layer → sugar coating layer → colored layer → polishing layer.
Start the main motor first to make the material roll, and then turn on the blower and electric heating as needed (the temperature is usually controlled at 30-50 ℃).
4. Operation monitoring
Observe the rolling state of the material and control the uniformity of the coating by adjusting the inclination angle (usually 30 °) and rotation speed of the pot.
Use an infrared thermometer to monitor the temperature of the pot to prevent sugar from coking due to overheating.
5. Shutdown program
After completing the coating, turn off the heating first, wait for the temperature to drop to room temperature before stopping the blower, and finally turn off the main motor.
Check the surface smoothness and color uniformity of the coated tablets during discharge.
6. Cleaning and maintenance
After production, rinse with drinking water until there are no residues, then clean with purified water, with a focus on cleaning the spray gun and inlet hose.
Check the lubricating oil of the gearbox every month, and apply anti rust oil to the copper sugar coated pot when it is not in use.
