Detailed explanation of safe operation steps for swing granulator

1、 Preparation before operation
1. Equipment inspection: Confirm that the equipment status is marked as standby, remove foreign objects, and check if the fasteners are loose. Install the corresponding mesh (usually 14-22 mesh) and adjust the tightness to the appropriate level.
2. Lubrication debugging: Add lubricating oil to the worm gear box and bearing seat to the scale line, inject 4ml of lubricating grease into each side of the pressure roller oil hole, and manually rotate the drum to test whether it runs flexibly.
3. Raw material pretreatment: The mixture needs to meet the humidity standard of "forming lumps by hand and dispersing with light pressure" (moisture content of 10% -15%), and viscous materials can be added with β - cyclodextrin or wetting agents.
2、 Startup and parameter settings
1. No load test: After connecting the power, run at low speed for 1-2 minutes without load, observe whether the drum swings smoothly, and check whether the scraper shaft rotates normally.
2. Parameter adjustment:
Roller spacing: For initial use, use a specialized wrench to adjust it to 0.1-0.3mm to ensure even clearance with the screen mesh.
Cutting blade height: Adjust the particle length by cutting the blade through the discharge port.
Speed control: Dry materials can be accelerated to 30-40 r/min, while high viscosity or wet materials require low-speed operation (15-20 r/min).
3、 Granulation operation
1. Feeding standard: The initial feeding amount should be controlled at 1/3 of the hopper capacity to avoid overloading and damage to the screen mesh; Soft materials should be evenly poured into the hopper and kept at a certain height.
2. Dynamic monitoring:
If the particles are loose, reduce the spacing between the pressure rollers or decrease the feeding speed; If blocked, check the integrity of the sieve and clean any residue.
Add lubricating oil every 2 hours and monitor the bearing temperature rise to not exceed 65 ℃.
3. Exception handling: If the speed is too low or there is a blockage, immediately stop the machine. It is strictly prohibited to clean the inside of the hopper with hands or metal sharp tools.
4、 Shutdown and maintenance
1. End operation: Stop feeding and run empty for 1 minute to drain the material from the sieve holes, then turn off the power.
2. Cleaning and maintenance:
After disassembling the screen, use compressed air or a soft brush to remove clogged particles. Corrosive materials need to be washed with purified water and dried.
Fill the sieve holes with oil containing materials for rust prevention before long-term shutdown, and cut off the power supply.
5、 Safety precautions
1. Protective measures: Wear protective goggles and gloves during operation to avoid material contact with skin and eyes.
2. Prohibited behavior: It is strictly prohibited to manually handle stuck materials or clean the hopper when the equipment is running or the power is not disconnected.
6、 Clearing and Recording
Collect remaining materials and indicate their status, and fill out the clearance record; Complete equipment cleaning according to the "Swing Granulator Cleaning Regulations".
