The trough mixer is used to mix wet materials in powder or paste form, so that different proportions of main and auxiliary materials are mixed evenly, and there will be no dissolution, volatilization or deterioration of the materials during the mixing process.
When using a trough mixer, the following aspects should be noted:
1. Before testing, the slot mixer should be checked for the firmness of all connecting components, the amount of lubricating oil in the reducer, and the integrity of the electrical equipment. Then, the main switch should be closed and the power should be turned on for air running test.
2. Production can only be put into operation if no abnormal noise, high temperature of the bearing gear, or direct temperature rise of the reducer are found.
3. If it is necessary to scrape the material on the tank wall of the mixer during operation, bamboo and wooden tools should be used, and hands should not be used to avoid hand injury accidents.
4. If abnormal vibration or abnormal noises are found during the use of the trough mixer, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection.
5. The load of the mixer should not be too high, usually measured by the load of the electric motor. The heavy load current of the 380V electric motor during mixing should not exceed 6 amperes, which is normal. If the load is exceeded, the mixing capacity should be immediately reduced.
6. The shaft seals at both ends of the mixing blade should be kept clean to avoid blackening and deterioration of the material. Square holes should be left on the outer baffles at both ends of the mixing tank, which should be unobstructed and not blocked to prevent back pressure from seeping into the shaft, causing blackening and deterioration of the material in the tank.
7. The operator must be familiar with the technical performance, internal structure, and control structure of the trough mixer.
8. During operation, it is not allowed to leave the work site to prevent mechanical damage caused by malfunctions, in order to ensure safe production.
9. Regularly inspect the components, 1-2 times a month, to check whether the moving parts such as worm gears, worm gears, bearings, and shaft seals are rotating flexibly and worn. If any defects are found, they should be repaired in a timely manner to ensure the normal use of the slot mixer.
10. Mechanical lubrication: The lubrication of the reducer adopts oil immersed type, and its oil storage capacity must be maintained at the oil standard line, and the oil quality must be kept clean. If frequently used, it is necessary to change the oil every three months. When replacing, the reducer should be disassembled, cleaned, and then filled with new oil.
11. The electrical control components of the trough mixer should be kept clean and sensitive, and any malfunctions should be promptly repaired.
12. After a single use or shutdown, the remaining materials in the mixing tank should be removed and the residual powder in each part of the machine should be cleaned. If the shutdown time is long, the trough mixer must be wiped clean and covered with a tarpaulin.
