Extraction method and principle of protein from traditional Chinese medicine extraction tank
Date: 2024-09-19Read: 7

The traditional Chinese medicine extraction tank can provide water extraction, alcohol extraction, volatile oil extraction, and protein extraction of traditional Chinese medicine materials. It can also recover solvents from waste and can be used in various leaching processes such as percolation, warm leaching, reflux, cyclic leaching, pressure or pressure reduction leaching, etc. It has the advantages of high efficiency and easy operation.

There are many types of white matter that can be obtained and prepared from proteins, with significant differences in their properties. Although they are of the same type of protein, there are also significant differences in the selection of materials and methods of use, making it impossible to have a fixed procedure for separating various types of proteins in a system that cannot be separated externally. However, the key components and basic methods in most separation processes are still common. Most proteins can be dissolved in water, dilute salt, dilute acid, or dilute alkali solutions, while a few proteins that bind to lipids can be dissolved in organic solvents such as ethanol, acetone, and butanol. Therefore, different solvents can be used to extract, separate, and purify proteins and enzymes.
The difference in solubility between proteins and enzymes in different solvents mainly depends on the ratio of non-polar hydrophobic groups to polar hydrophilic groups in the protein molecule, followed by the arrangement and dipole moment of these groups. Therefore, the molecular structural properties are the internal causes of differences in protein solubility.

temperature pH、 Ionic strength and other external conditions affect protein solubility. Protein extraction often involves the comprehensive utilization of these internal and external factors. Extract intracellular proteins. And separate it from other unwanted substances. However, some soluble forms of proteins in animal materials exist in body fluids (such as plasma, digested sulfur, etc.) and can be separated directly without extraction. Insoluble proteins such as keratin, collagen, and silk protein in proteins only require appropriate solvents to wash away soluble byproducts such as lipids, sugars, and other soluble proteins, leaving behind insoluble proteins. After cell lysis, these proteins are dissolved in appropriate solvents such as water, dilute hydrochloric acid, and buffer. Then, insoluble substances are removed by centrifugation to obtain the crude extract.
Water is suitable for the extraction of albumin proteins. If the pH of the extract is controlled with an appropriate buffer solution, both co stability and solubility can be increased. Globulins can be dissolved in dilute salt solutions, while lipoproteins can be extracted using dilute detergent solutions such as sodium dodecyl sulfate, digitonin solution, or organic solvents. Other insoluble proteins are usually extracted using dilute alkaline solutions.

Extraction tank is a type of extraction equipment widely used in the cooking and extraction process design of industries such as traditional Chinese medicine, plants, animals, food, and chemicals. It can extract alcohol for recovery and separate volatile oils during this process. The extraction principle of the extraction tank generally refers to the leaching process, and there are two mass transfer methods in the process of extracting materials: molecular diffusion and convective diffusion.

1、 Extraction: The process of extracting effective ingredients from medicinal materials using appropriate solvents and methods is an important operation in the extraction of natural organic compounds. According to the diffusion mass transfer theory of plant extraction process, the extraction process can be divided into three stages: infiltration permeation desorption dissolution diffusion and solvent displacement.
The three stages are explained in detail as follows:
A. Infiltration stage: allowing the solvent to infiltrate the material and infiltrate into plant tissues and cells;
B. Desorption and dissolution stage: It is the process of solvent dissolution of active ingredients in plant tissues, allowing them to dissociate into tissues or cells.
C. During the diffusion and solvent displacement stage, the concentration difference between the active ingredients inside and outside the cell is utilized to create an osmotic pressure that is high inside and low outside, allowing the active ingredients to diffuse into the tissue or outside the cell.
2、 There are two main factors affecting leaching in the extraction process: molecular diffusion and convective diffusion
