1、 Pre operation safety check
1. Equipment status confirmation
Check the vibration motor, spring support device, and transmission components for looseness or damage to ensure the integrity of the equipment structure.
Verify the sealing of the vacuum system (if equipped) and test whether the vacuum pump can meet the process requirements (usually ≤ -0.09MPa).
Check the reliability of electrical grounding and ensure accurate calibration of instruments (temperature and pressure sensors).
2. Material and Environmental Preparation
The particle size of the material needs to be pre treated (recommended ≤ 10mm) to prevent blockage of the spiral channel or vibration of the bed.
Clean up the residue in the drying room, ensure that the air inlet/outlet is unobstructed, and avoid debris affecting the airflow or vibration balance.
Remove flammable materials from the work area, equip with fire extinguishing equipment, and maintain ventilation.
2、 Standard operating procedures
1. Start up phase
No load start: Start the vibration motor for idle preheating (low frequency 5-10Hz) first, observe the amplitude stability, and then feed if there is no abnormal noise.
Step by step loading: Control the feed rate within 30% -50% of the drying chamber volume to avoid overload causing vibration imbalance or motor overheating.
Parameter setting: Set the temperature (thermal sensitive material ≤ 60 ℃), vacuum degree, and vibration frequency according to the material characteristics, and strictly prohibit over limit operation.
2. Operation monitoring
Real time monitoring of current, temperature, and vibration amplitude, and immediate shutdown for troubleshooting in case of abnormal fluctuations (such as a sudden increase of 20% in current).
Observe the fluidization state of materials: maintain uniform flow, prevent local accumulation or splashing; If the discharge is interrupted, lightly tap the discharge port with a wooden mallet (it is strictly prohibited to directly unclog with hands).
Regularly check the sealing during vacuum drying, and if the pressure rises above 0.01MPa/min, stop the machine for leak detection.
3. Shutdown program
Sequential shutdown: Stop feeding first → Turn off the heat source → Run without load for 10-15 minutes to cool down → Stop the vibration motor → Finally, shut down the vacuum system.
Vacuum breaking operation: Before restoring normal pressure, inert gas (such as nitrogen) should be introduced to prevent air from entering and causing dust explosions or material oxidation.
Cleaning requirements: After the equipment has cooled down to<50 ℃, turn off the power and hang the tag before cleaning the internal residue, especially removing the adhesive blocks on the spiral blades.
3、 Emergency situation handling
1. Mechanical failure (abnormal vibration, impact sound): Immediately stop the machine, hang a sign for isolation, and report for repair.
2. Material blockage: Only specialized tools (such as hammers) are allowed to clear the blockage, and it is strictly prohibited to reach into the equipment during operation.
3. Vacuum leakage: Close the vacuum valve, initiate the emergency pressure relief program, and evacuate the leakage area.
4、 Maintenance and safety taboos
1. Daily maintenance
Clean the filter weekly, lubricate the bearings (with high-temperature resistant grease) monthly, and check the fatigue of the springs.
Regularly verify the sensitivity of temperature/pressure instruments and safety valves.
2. Absolutely prohibited behavior
Open the maintenance door or make contact with moving parts during operation.
Overloading (>50% volume), overheating operation, or pressure maintenance.
Unprotected handling of dusty materials (dust masks and anti-static clothing must be worn).
Key reminder: Operators need to undergo professional training and pass the assessment, and be familiar with the location of the emergency brake button on the equipment (usually set in the control cabinet and equipment column). During maintenance, the "power outage listing monitoring" system must be implemented.
