A trough mixer is a mixing equipment widely used in industrial fields such as chemical, food, and pharmaceutical industries. 1、 Operating procedures
1. Preparation before operation
(1) Firstly, check if the mixer is in a shutdown state and disconnect the power supply;
(2) Clean the trough mixer and inspect the equipment for any foreign objects;
(3) Check if all switches and indicator lights on the mixer console are functioning properly.
2. Operation
(1) Turn on the power switch, and the corresponding indicator light on the console will light up;
(2) Press the 'mixing switch' and 'discharging switch' on the console respectively to start rotating the mixing drum and discharge the mixture from the drum;
(3) Adjust the 'time adjustment knob' and 'speed adjustment knob' to achieve the desired mixing time and mixing speed.
3. Post operation processing
(1) Disconnect the power switch and turn off the mixer;
(2) Clean the mixer to avoid residue affecting the next use.
2、 Maintenance and upkeep
1. Daily maintenance
(1) Regularly check whether cables, power plugs, etc. are damaged;
(2) Regularly check whether the rotating parts and console switches of the mixer are normal;
(3) Regularly clean the mixer to avoid damage from impurities and corrosive substances to the equipment.
2. Operation and maintenance
(1) Regularly add lubricating oil to the mixer to maintain the lubrication status of the equipment;
(2) Regularly check whether the sealing of the mixing bucket is intact;
(3) Regularly check whether the fastening screws of the transmission components of the mixer are loose or ineffective.
3. Long term maintenance
(1) Regularly inspect the mixer comprehensively from different aspects such as electrical and mechanical systems;
(2) For mixers that are not used for a long time, they should be thoroughly cleaned, lubricated, and maintained.
3、 Safety precautions
1. The trough mixer can only be operated by professionals or personnel who have received relevant professional training;
2. When replacing parts or conducting maintenance or repairs, the power must be disconnected first;
3. During the operation, hands, heads, or other body parts must not be inserted into the mixing bucket;
4. When using a trough mixer, attention should be paid to operating in a well ventilated environment to prevent harmful gases or other substances from causing harm to the human body.
