Operation steps of secondary reverse osmosis pure water equipment
Date: 2025-12-09Read: 7
The operation steps of the secondary reverse osmosis pure water equipment mainly include pretreatment, primary reverse osmosis, secondary reverse osmosis, and subsequent treatment stages.
1. Pre treatment stage: First, open the inlet and outlet valves, start the raw water pump, and supply water to the quartz sand filter for forward washing for about 5 minutes until the effluent is clear. Then open the outlet valve, close the drain valve, and enter normal operation. After the quartz sand filter has been working for a period of time, when the pressure difference exceeds 0.08MPa, it needs to be backwashed. Open the drain valve and inlet valve, backwash for about 10 minutes until the effluent is clear. The operation of the activated carbon filter is similar. After washing for about 5 minutes and the effluent is clear, it enters normal operation.
2. First stage reverse osmosis stage: The pre treated water enters the first stage reverse osmosis host, and under pressure, water molecules pass through the reverse osmosis membrane to remove more than 90% of impurities in the water.
3. Secondary reverse osmosis stage: The water produced by the primary reverse osmosis enters the secondary reverse osmosis host for precision processing, thoroughly removing residual trace ions and impurities, and stabilizing the water quality by nearly 70%.
4. Subsequent processing stage: The effluent from secondary reverse osmosis can be sent to EDI ultrapure water equipment or ultraviolet sterilizers as needed to further remove ions and microorganisms, ultimately obtaining high-purity water.
During operation, it is necessary to regularly backwash and regenerate the pre-treatment equipment, monitor the inlet and outlet water pressure and quality of each level of reverse osmosis, and ensure the normal operation of the equipment and the compliance of the effluent water quality.
