Daily maintenance of secondary reverse osmosis equipment
Date: 2025-06-23Read: 5
The daily maintenance of secondary reverse osmosis equipment mainly includes the following aspects:
1. Replacement and cleaning of filter element and reverse osmosis membrane:
Filter cartridge replacement: The filter cartridge will gradually clog over time, affecting filtration efficiency. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a reasonable filter replacement cycle based on water quality and equipment usage frequency. When replacing, ensure proper operation to avoid contaminating the new filter element.
Cleaning and regeneration of reverse osmosis membrane: Regular cleaning and regeneration of reverse osmosis membrane can effectively remove pollutants on the surface of the membrane and extend its service life. Control the quality of the incoming water to avoid damage to the membrane caused by high hardness or water containing a large amount of organic matter and microorganisms.
2. Inspection and maintenance of electrical systems:
Regularly inspect the electrical system of the equipment, including power lines, control components, etc., to ensure their normal operation and avoid safety hazards caused by malfunctions. It is recommended to regularly invite professionals to inspect and maintain the electrical system.
3. Maintenance of equipment environment:
• Keep the environment where the equipment is located clean and dry, avoiding direct sunlight and moisture erosion. The equipment should be placed indoors to avoid contact with corrosive smoke and dust, and equipped with drainage ditches and lighting facilities for operation and maintenance.
4. Daily operation and maintenance:
• Power on and off operations: Before starting up, check the electrical appliances and pipelines to ensure that there is water in the original water tank. Turn on the water source switch before the incoming water solenoid valve, and the system will start running automatically. Low pressure flushing is required when shutting down to ensure internal cleanliness of the system.
Manual flushing of reverse osmosis system: Regularly manually flush the reverse osmosis system to maintain no sediment inside the system and ensure stable system performance.
5. Preventive maintenance measures:
Short term shutdown maintenance: If the equipment needs to be shut down for a short period of time (≤ 7 days), the system should be operated for 30 to 60 minutes per day or a single backwash should be performed to prevent bacterial growth.
Long term shutdown maintenance: If the equipment needs to be shut down for a long time (>7 days), comprehensive chemical cleaning should be carried out, and a protective solution should be used to fill the system to prevent drying and microbial growth.
