A fuel steam boiler is a commonly used industrial equipment used to generate steam and drive the operation of other equipment. In order to ensure the performance and service life of fuel steam boilers, certain operating and maintenance procedures need to be followed. This article will introduce the operation and maintenance procedures of fuel steam boilers to ensure their normal operation and long-term use.
1、 Operating procedures
1. The operation of fuel steam boilers should be carried out in accordance with equipment drawings and technical documents. In emergency situations, emergency disposal should be carried out according to the operating process to reduce the occurrence of accidents and safety incidents.
2. Before operation, all operating components should be checked for integrity, such as inlet and outlet valves, fans, exhaust fans, etc. Check whether the fuel and water level meet the requirements, verify the accuracy of instrument readings, and inspect the appearance of the equipment.
3. During the operation of a fuel steam boiler, it should maintain continuous operation while ensuring safety. Valves should not be opened or closed arbitrarily to avoid unstable combustion and affect the efficiency of the boiler.
4. Operators should strictly follow the operating procedures and safety regulations. If any problems are found, they should promptly report to their superiors and shut down for maintenance.
5. In the operation of fuel steam boilers, it is necessary to regularly observe changes in water level and pressure, adjust them in a timely manner, and strictly prohibit operations beyond the highest water level line of the boiler.
6. When turning off the engine, the inlet and outlet valves should be closed according to the process operation procedure to stop the water from entering. When the boiler water drops to about 40-60 ℃, the vacuum pump should be closed and the power should be cut off immediately after the furnace is cooled down or drained.
2、 Maintenance Regulations
1. A maintenance plan for fuel steam boilers should be developed, and maintenance work should be arranged reasonably to ensure the normal operation of the boiler.
2. Under normal operating conditions of the fuel steam boiler, a daily inspection should be conducted to check whether all parts of the boiler are normal, eliminate problems, and make timely modifications.
3. When the fuel steam boiler is shut down, comprehensive maintenance should be carried out, including inspection and replacement of vulnerable parts of the equipment, such as boiler water pumps, drain valves, burners, etc.
4. Regularly clean the pipeline to ensure its unobstructed flow and avoid problems caused by pipeline blockage.
5. Regularly inspect and repair water level controllers, pressure sensors, and safety components. Eliminate relevant issues to ensure the stability, safety, and improvement of work efficiency of the equipment.
6. Clean the exhaust duct to avoid dangerous incidents caused by blocked exhaust ducts. Be careful to prevent accidents during the cleaning process.
