Refining effect industry of three-stage emulsifier
Date: 2020-07-17Read: 7

Three stage emulsifierAs the name suggests, it refers to the rapid and uniform distribution of one or more phases into another continuous phase using a high shear emulsifier in a vacuum state. It utilizes the strong kinetic energy brought by machinery to make the material withstand hundreds of thousands of hydraulic shear cycles per minute in the narrow gap between the stator and rotor. The three-stage emulsifier has a comprehensive effect of centrifugal extrusion, impact tearing, etc., which instantly and uniformly disperses the emulsion. After high-frequency cyclic reciprocating, the ultimate high-quality product without bubbles, delicate and stable is obtained.

The three-stage emulsifier is a bi-directional suction machine with a claw structure and a stator structure as shown in the left figure. It is more reasonable and efficient than a one-way suction structure, with no dead corners in circulation. The emulsifying machine has a stronger refining effect. This is because the valve core and seat of the working valve are tightly fitted in the initial position, and the three-stage emulsifier is only forced to squeeze out a narrow slit by the feed liquid during operation; In order to achieve high-speed rotation and not generate excessive heat, there must be a large gap between the stator and rotor of the centrifugal emulsification equipment (compared to the homogenization valve); Meanwhile, since the transmission mechanism of the homogenizer is a positive displacement reciprocating pump, theoretically speaking, the homogenization pressure can be infinitely increased, and the higher the pressure, the better the refinement effect.

The main structure of the three-stage emulsifier is the stator and rotor system, and its structural form has also undergone updates, from blade structure to the current claw structure, from single piece shearing to multi-layer dual bite shearing, from single piece suction to bidirectional suction, quickly and uniformly distributing one or more phases to another continuous phase; Under normal circumstances, the various phases are immiscible with each other. The three-stage emulsifier, due to the high tangential velocity generated by the high-speed rotation of the rotor and the strong kinetic energy brought by high-frequency mechanical effects, subjects the material to strong mechanical and hydraulic shear, centrifugal extrusion, liquid layer friction, impact tearing, and turbulence in the narrow gap between the stator and rotor,Three stage emulsifierThus, the immiscible solid, liquid, and gas phases can be dispersed and emulsified uniformly and finely in an instant under the combined action of corresponding mature processes and appropriate additives. After high-frequency cyclic cycles, relatively stable high-quality products can be obtained.

The three-stage emulsifier can be used for research, experimental development, and small-scale production, and is suitable for use on countertops. The wetted parts are made of stainless steel material, which is easy to disassemble and facilitates quick cleaning during the operation process. The mixing head is equipped with three interchangeable stator heads and an axial up and down lifting device. Typical applications include cell lysis in biology to emulsification of various reactants in chemical systems.

The three-stage emulsifier consists of 1-3 working chambers. Under the high-speed drive of the motor, the material moves at high speed in the narrow gap between the rotor and stator, forming turbulent flow. The material is subjected to stronger hydraulic shear, centrifugal extrusion, high-speed cutting, impact, and grinding, achieving the effects of dispersion, emulsification, and crushing. The particle size distribution range, homogenization and refinement effects, and yield of the material being processed by the three-stage emulsifier are determined by its physical properties, the number of working chambers, and the time the material stays in the working chamber.

The three-stage emulsifier has the advantages of compact overall structure, small volume, light weight, easy operation, low noise, and smooth operation. Its biggest feature is that it does not grind the medium in the production process, and integrates high-speed shearing, dispersion, homogenization, mixing, and crushing. The shearing head adopts a claw type, bidirectional suction structure, avoiding blind spots and vortex phenomena caused by difficult suction of upper materials. The high-speed rotating rotor of the three-stage emulsifier generates strong shear force, with higher shear rate and stronger shear force. Under the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed and strong rotating rotor, the high shear machine throws the material radially into the narrow and precise gap between the stator and rotor, while being subjected to centrifugal compression, impact and other forces, causing the material to disperse, mix and emulsify.Three stage emulsifierCapable of quickly and uniformly homogenizing and dissolving one or more materials into single-phase or multi-phase media.
