In recent customer visits, it was found that some customers use food grade silicone oil or edible oil for the lubrication of the stamping die during the tablet pressing process, without following the oil number (32 #/46 #) indicated in the equipment manual. Due to the poor temperature resistance of silicone oil and edible oil (solidification or increased viscosity when the temperature exceeds 50-70 ° C), the stamping die is not flexible and prone to wear and tear. After on-site explanation and guidance, replacing the lubricating oil, adjusting and installing the flushing oil prevention device, the equipment immediately resumed normal operation.
Lubrication of rotary tablet press
1. The general lubrication of the tablet press includes oil nozzles on the surface of each device, which can be filled with lubricating grease and mechanical oil according to the type of oil cup. It should be refilled before each start-up. It can be added midway according to the temperature rise and operation of the bearing.
2. Add mechanical oil to the worm gear box, usually using N46 in summer and N32 in winter. The appropriate oil level is when the worm gear is immersed in one tooth surface, which can be observed by observing the height of the oil surface. Use for about six months and replace with new oil.
3. Lubrication of the upper track disc: Before each use, use a brush to apply some mechanical oil for lubrication.
4. The punch rod and track should be lubricated with N32 mechanical oil, not too much, to prevent oil contamination from seeping into the particles and causing pollution.
